For some reason I'm fine hearing about baby news from my friends and family, but at work I turn into a complete mess :-( Wish I wasn't such an emotional person! :-(

I have been trying to keep up with all the action on here...so much is happening! Welcome rainbow road, 4furbabies and vetttc :-)

Sarielle- hope you get good results back from your go so you don't have to hold off on your cycle, ivf is enough to worry about without other health issues to add to the mix :-(

Msask- does 7dp5dt mean 7 days post egg pickup 5 days post transfer? If so, very best wishes for some really good news :-) Also best wishes to Betty W and vetttc :-)

Nothing much is happening for me yet, started Progynova yesterday which is a bit uneventful, much like you bedlover without all the usual drugs I feel like nothing much is happening! On that note bedlover do you always use pessaries? My clinic usually puts me on crinone but I asked for pessaries this cycle as I HATE crinone, even if it means getting up through the night to take the pessaries!

Anyway, best of luck everyone, exciting times for us all :-)
OMG Crinone is the worst. I would rather have an injection that Crinone!!! All the goop

Oh cool. I start on around Day 22 I think! My appointment is on the 31st, at any rate so I start then

I had a quick look on our clinics website and it seems down reg cycles are pretty usual, especially for younger women (like me). Hopefully it works.

Hope everyone is doing well xx

Default January / February IVF cycle buddies: Lucky 2013!

    Hi rainbow road and vettc...

Well I had an US and BT today the ultrasonographer said that gave me three follicles between 18-24mm and another 50 less than 10. I was so excited thinking I'd be heading to Canberra tomorrow or a Wed morning EPU but just got a call saying they want to grow them a little more and another US and BT Wed and likely EPU fri. The ultrasonographer had only told me the biggest measurement of the follicle not the average. I burst into tears as I've already driven 1000km this week for US an BT. I am so over it. I have another 1800km this week ahead of me. My poor car and savings.

I took two weeks off work starting today as the clinic said due to my high risk of OHSS they will take me most likely day 12 but now it will be day 16. I know it is only another four days but it means I will have to o back to work on the busy wards straight away and now I'm stuck at home twiddling my thumbs hopefully next time I will have a little more than a whiff of the FSH so it works faster.

I know it is no ones fault I'm just cranky with my follicles and a little at the ultrasonographer for giving me false hope. I just need a whinge.

I have not been emotional/cranky etc until yesterday and today, crying at the drop of a hat. I had to take my beautiful poddy calf Maisy out to the big farm yesterday as she had gotten so big and oh my goodness did I cry! My in laws must think i am mad the way i was wailing!!Haha I am blaming that one on hormones!!

I too have found the orgalutron a little nasty. The needle seems bluntish and after I give it I get a big itchy red welt but goes away in about an hour.

Sorry that was so long winded i needed a vent!

I hope the girls on their TWW get awesome news, the girls jabbing are coping, and i hope time flies for the girls sniffing/taking the pill xx

That sounds awful Bindy. So much driving

I hope those follies plump up quickly for you and you get a good batch of super healthy eggs.

I am already struggling with how I am going to manage work around treatment. I am a nanny, so fortunately I can take my work with me, but on 2 days a week I have 2 kids, and it'll be hard to manage then. I foresee some sick days. I don't want to tell my bosses because I worry that they might start looking for another nanny in preparation.

It sucks taking time off when you don't want to/are trying to save your days for EPU!!

Fairly sure it will be internal, so they can see if there are any cysts on the ovaries or anything. Everything is too small for an external scan I think.

Saw the GP this morning. She said my issues are beyond her expertise, but because she knows I'm meant to be starting jabbing in a few days, she called a specialist for me and asked if they could squeeze me in this week. So I have an appt with a gastroenterologist on Thursday at 6pm! I feel bad because he's probably staying back late just for me, but I'm so grateful to be seeing someone hopefully before AF arrives. Off to the clinic tomorrow to the pay cycle fee and collect my drugs... Here we go again. *sigh*
