Default January / February IVF cycle buddies: Lucky 2013!

Hey ladies, just been catching up on everyone's posts, this month is just dragging and I want to hurry up and start jabbing, on another note I start synarel next Tuesday so at least I will feel like I'm finally doing something other than taking the pill! An starting to worry about side affects though and how I will cope at work if I'm a blubbering mess but guess will come to that stage soon!! Hope u r all well!!

Good luck Beanie. I hope all goes well with your bloods!
Waiting and the lack of control in this whole journey is the most difficult I think!

What dose of Gonal F are you on?

Wow so much happening on here. Amazing to see so many of us all over the country going this same journey. Hi to all who have joined since I've last logged on

I'm currently 7dp5dt...My bloods are on Friday which is when AF would also be due. I have a feeling this last few days is going to go very slowly

    Hi Betty

All symptoms could relate to the concoction of drugs I'm afraid - slight cramping which I don't normally experience and fatigue irregardless of amount of rest/sleep.

Im cautiously optimistic, and in the event we're not successful will be doing a back to back stimulated cycle as we didn't have any embryos which were viable for freezing in this round.

Just going day by day, and each day AF isn't here is a blessing!

I've been put on a long cycle (with down regulation?).

Is that pretty standard for a first round of IVF?

I don't really understand how the long cycles work rainbow road so I'm not too sure.
This is my first round and I was put onto antagonist/ short cycle ie injections started on first day of period.

Maybe certain doctors have preferences or it might be based on our medical situations.

Rainbowrd from what I know the kind of cycle they put you on is very individual.

Msaskbelievereceive hope you get bfp! Not too long to go now. I'm on 112.5 of gonal f.

Still waiting for my phone call over here!

Hi everyone, thanks to all who offered their thoughts on the telling people about their ivf journeys. I've been through a few cycles now and like Beatrix I found it hard to keep it a secret from work with all the absences and my emotional times :-( I told my small team at work right from the start, though I'm sure most people in my office know now as I have been in tears at my desk many times over the last year. For some reason I'm fine hearing about baby news from my friends and family, but at work I turn into a complete mess :-( Wish I wasn't such an emotional person! :-(

I have been trying to keep up with all the action on here...so much is happening! Welcome rainbow road, 4furbabies and vetttc :-)

Sarielle- hope you get good results back from your go so you don't have to hold off on your cycle, ivf is enough to worry about without other health issues to add to the mix :-(

Msask- does 7dp5dt mean 7 days post egg pickup 5 days post transfer? If so, very best wishes for some really good news :-) Also best wishes to Betty W and vetttc :-)

Nothing much is happening for me yet, started Progynova yesterday which is a bit uneventful, much like you bedlover without all the usual drugs I feel like nothing much is happening! On that note bedlover do you always use pessaries? My clinic usually puts me on crinone but I asked for pessaries this cycle as I HATE crinone, even if it means getting up through the night to take the pessaries!

Anyway, best of luck everyone, exciting times for us all :-)
