Rainbow, chin up your time will come. But I know how you feel. Give yourself a day off work if you can and relax

It's hard. Also, she wants to go back to work when bub is 6 weeks old, leaving me with a 3yo and 6week old.

    Sorry, no.

The only newborn I want to look after is my own.

I'm looking for new jobs now.

Default January / February IVF cycle buddies: Lucky 2013!

Had EPU this morning and am still feeling abit sore so hopefully it goes overnight. We have 7 eggs which is great considering I only have the 1 ovary... Can't wait to call the clinic tomorrow to see how many have fertilized. Transfer is this Saturday which also happens to be DH bday so hoping its a good thing!!

What hospital were u at Nancy?? I hope it wasn't u next to me at Lingard this morning or I would feel really bad for not saying hi!!

Am do glad that the synarel and puregon are over with as I had the worst time with it so hopefully I can get back to feeling abit normal soon..

I will probably get shot down for this, but seriously, what kind of a person leaves a 6 week old baby with a nanny?!? Now I am making assumptions, but Rainbow I assume your boss is pretty well off if she has you looking after 1 child (nannys are not cheap compared to other care options) so why not put her children first and spend a few more months getting to know her baby?!?

I really find this poor behaviour. I understand sometimes circumstances mean it can't be helped but this situation sound different to that.

Rainbow - this must be so frustrating for you both being cross at her for leaving her newborn, being angry cause she expects you to take on the massive extra work load AND wanting nothing more than a baby of your own to look after (yourself!!!).

Sounds like a new job is the best idea xx

Exactly bedlover. She earns a lot- she can definitely afford more than 6 weeks off.

She wants another because she wants two, she does not have time for two because she barely sees the one she has.

I love him, but my respect for his parents is dwindling rapidly. I want an office job - somewhere where seeing pregnant bellies isn't as inevitable as at my work.

But really, I want my own pregnant belly, and I want my own baby. One that we will cherish and see for more than 1.5hrs a day.

That's the main reason why this pregnancy has hurt me more than others. It just shows that there's nothing fair at play, because if their was, the people in this thread would be pregnant and the people who don't make time for the kids they already have wouldn't be having more

Harsh, yes. But I'm not in a great place right now. I think I'm going to take the whole week of EPU and ET off.
