    Default dull ache / cramping

Anyone else had this? I'm approx 5wks and one of my first hints I was pg was cramping. It's been continuing on, might get small breaks from it and sitting for too long or wearing anything firm around waist agrovates it. Third pregnancy and haven't experienced this before. I was at drs today and she didn't seem too concerned about it......how long can I expect this discomfort to continue?

Hi MyFam - I started cramping around the same time and still get them occasionally - 6 weeks later. Some days they are quite strong, some days not so bad. Sometimes one side or the other ... just your uterus growing and is normal. No idea when they'll quit, though!

I've cramped from day one. Some days its better than others, but it's often dull and not sharp. I'm always worried I'll miscarry though. As long as it's not all day long and isn't followed with bleeding, they say it's normal.
Mine is starting to easy off now; 7 weeks in, so I'm tahnkful for that. Now I just get nausea. Not sure which I prefer ...

Hi - I am 5 weeks and I have had pulling and stretching type pains. I have also found that I have had some sharper pains - only to realise they are wind pains lol!

today though I started to get a tight feeling in my diaphragm/stomach. Googled it - apparently all normal - just your body moving things around inside!

I wouldn't worry unless it is sharp pains like your period with blood!
