    Default Could this be mastitis?

I am so cold, having horrible chills. Sore throat. One breast is sore but not red. Feels like a burning pain. Not excruciating but very uncomfortable. Can't check for lumps as I'm in the dr's waiting room and its just occurred to me that it may be the cause. Anyone have any advice/experience?

Sounds like it could be but you might just be coming down with the flu. In any case I hope you're feeling better soon

Ouch, glad you are taking steps to get it sorted. With regards to the let down, I couldn't feel mine either &, like you, when I did it hurt. Just want to say that it gets better, your let down wont hurt all the time. Mine slowly hurt less until one day I thought 'it's not hurting anymore'. Still to this day it's a different feeling to the pins & needles everyone describes but it's not sore. Rest up

Yep, sounds like mastitis. My dr gave me a shot of penicillin. All was well. I admit a cabbage leaf also helps. Quite soothing.
