Default Pregnancy after Implanon, how long did it take you to conceive?

Started ttc in 2009 right after i got it out... it took18 months, one miscarriage and colmid. I have a very old TTC diary somewhere on here now lol.

My cycles were very irregular and I ended up with Luteinized unruptured follicle syndrome which basically means that n egg comes out to the end of the tube but does not rupture out o be fertilised.

Don't know if this happened because of Implanon but I suspect so cause I was pretty regular before hand. I spotted for pretty much the whole time I had implanon in... I don't think it agreed with me.

Tht being said, after I fell pregnant the first time and carried full term, I ended up with a whoops and very regular periods.

I had mine out late august. Was told by my doctor that it could take up to six months for my system to settle down cause I'd had implanon for 11 years. I had one period, then the morning sickness started. I'm now 33 weeks pregnant.

Were you ladies actively trying to conceive or did it just happen? Doctors told us there'd be little chance we can conceive now as I got my second implanon taken out after having implanons for a total of 6 years...

Your doctor is an idiot! I had implanon for over 7 years, was on my third rod when I took it out and was pregnant my second cycle. What your dr told you is so ridiculous-implying you're pretty much infertile because you have used birth control defeats the purpose! Also there are ladies on here who fell pregnant when they had the rod in. Anyway, good luck if you're trying to conceive

Agree with Chillies! What an idiot!!

I was into my 6th year with my second implanon when I had it removed. From my PP, we conceived first try within a matter of weeks!
