Talking Day 20 - Family that exercises together sweats together.

We had fun zumba-ing with all the kids today, normally I only have one or two with me but today I had them all. They hadn't done the Rush Dvd before so it was a new experience. We had fun crashing into each other as all turned different ways at the same time.

    Here is some pic's.

Thanks GQ, we had a ball. I just did Rush back to back with Exhilarate. Oh my I am so exhausted but so proud at the same time. I never thought I would be able to do one workout let alone two.

Now THAT is a feat I can't possibly fathom! I'll keep my Rush workout safely 11 hours away from my Exhilarate/Ripped workouts, thanks!

I think your way is better. I was feeling a bit down about those evil scales. So I decided to workout until I dropped. They (the scales) were so mean to me this morning I left hubby with morning school rush and did Rush with the toning sticks for the first time. I don't think he was impressed.

Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do and can I say that I'M impressed by you doing Rush with the toning sticks! Then again, I didn't have to deal with the school rush!

I do Rush in the mornings before work and Exhilarate or Ripped when I get home so it's pretty much every 12 hours now that I'm doing some kind of Zumba routine ROFL! Adding that morning workout was such a good idea, though, it's upped my daily calorie burn majorly!

Somehow I don't think I can realistically do a workout before school especially when Hubby is away for work. The kids would be going to school in their pj's and have empty tummies. I can't do before they get up either as that is when Danny cluster feeds (3 am, 4am and 5 am). So I am going to try for a late morning one on days that I am home and a after school one on the days I am not. Than another after dinner and the kids are asleep.
    Well that the plan anyhow.
I am trying to workout how I am going to workout tomorrow. I will be leaving at 4am for 5 hour drive to Cairns, I will super busy as I am picking up something super special . I will be in going to dinner and staying overnight in a squishy hotel room. I don't want to take a rest day, because I am scared if I do I will find it hard to get my momentum up again. IYKWIM

Hmmmmm, do you have some kind of portable DVD player? You could do Rush in the hotel room, then!

If it's not logistically possible then don't stress and call it a rest day but keep your eating as healthy as possible by choosing some kind of grilled chicken or fish and vegetables at the restaurant if you can! There's no way I'd let you lose momentum anyway and even I take a rest day on a Saturday! So far I haven't done Zumba on any of the Saturdays in this challenge!

Don't stress if you don't get to Zumba, there are lots of other ways to keep moving, like a nice long walk along the esplanade. You don't have to set a cracking pace, just keep moving.

Thanks. Feel free to kick me up the bum if needed.

I will take my laptop but it will be so squishy in there. Cairns is fully booked out because of the solar eclipse.
