Default High school recommendations in Brisbane

I wondered if anyone could give me some advice on private high schools on Brisbane North side. I'm a bit panicked as I'm being told if I want to put my 4 year old down for a "good" school I need to do it now. In all likelihood they'll go to the local state high (The Gap) but I'd like to keep the options open. It's hard to know what's going to suit them in ten years time!

So far I like Hillbrook and BBC but would prefer a non religious school. It costs so much to go on the waiting lists I don't want to throw money away

Depends on how much you are willing to pay. Non religious schools are much fewer - grammar and BBC. Also do you want co Ed or single sex? Do you have a boy or a girl?

    Boys
    Marist in Ashgrove
    Gregory tce in spring hill
    Boys grammar
    BBC

    Girls
    Mt St michaels in ashgrove
    All hallows in the valley
    Sommerville in south Brisbane
    Girls grammar

    Co Ed
    Hillbrook in enoggera

Thanks. I have 2 boys. Not sure on budget right now so much can change in 10 years. Can't believe everyone else seems much more organised than me!
