Default The waiting game- to support each others and keep us occupied!

I'd like to join this thread. Just had a tubal reversal & now have a 3 month wait before we are meant to officially start ttc.

At the moment I'd like to be preparing physically but not sure what I should be doing vitamin wise etc for me & DH.

    Pretty excited to get going😀

Welcome "ourbradybunch". I take it from your name that you and your partner each have kids of your own & now want one together... how wonderful!

As for vitamins, my doc recommended elevit for me & said that DH didn't really need to take anything, just to avoid alcohol (but I put him on a multi with vitamin C - pretty sure he wasn't going to go for menevit!) A few ladies on here have recommended Vitex, which might be good for you after the reversal... although I'm no doctor so can't say for sure.

Bean sprouts, coconut, mango, banana... that's all I can remember atm. Basically anything with vitamin C is good.
The only one of those that DH will eat is banana, haha he says he is not fussy but he really is.

welcome our brady bunch, if I were you i would just be eating well, drinking less, keeping fit and getting a pre ttc check up with your doc. They will tell you what vitamins to take. After having bloods done my doc said all I needed was folate. My DH does not drink at all, so I don't need to worry about that for him, and I have just not been drinking as much. (although Christmas and New year that might change if I don't get a BFP before then)

Yay for weekend. I have been off work nearly all week anyway as I have done my back. but glad its the weekend as I am getting really bored! I don't do 'rest' very well.

5-6 days till o for me. let the bd'ing begin!

I'm feeling stressed, impatient & irritable. Instead of doing my assignment or dtd (approx 2 days until O!!!) I was out trying to finish the Christmas shopping. I'm on my way home now to finish my assignment... then... bd ... or maybe the other way around...

Hi Ladies! May I please join?

It's my first round of IVF and I'm currently in the wait between collection and transfer. I'm also new to BH and have found great company on here.

We never thought we would be doing this around Xmas time, but my FIL is terminally ill and doesn't have long, and we thought it would be better to try and schedule it now, at least in the hope that DH won't be required at our appointments when things turn awful.

Xmas is interesting this year, wandering around the shops feels different, like maybe it's more poignant and meaningful because of what has been going on. I also found myself not putting much thought into the gifts I purchased, like somehow it really was the gesture that counted....or maybe it's the hormones talking hehe!

Beatrix I am so sorry to hear of your FIL. FX TTC is short and sweet for you and you get to share your news with him shortly. x
