Default The waiting game- to support each others and keep us occupied!

So whether you waiting to O, waiting to test, waiting to conceive I thought it'd be nice to start a new thread to support and occupy each other. If you need advice or just a chat here's a fresh place for like minded folks all going through the emotional ttc journey!

I'm trying to be really laid back in my approach but I still always wanna talk about what's happening and I think my family and friends are a bit over it lol. AF is over 2 weeks late and I've done multiple hpts all bfn, had bloods done last week with a negative result, I'm super confused, my plan is to wait and see if AF shows up by Friday then do another hpt but I'm so impatient. Please help me hold out and not give in earlier.

    So who wants to chat???

Hey! I can totally understand your frustration of the 2WW! It's sooo hard to stop testing and checking and thinking what if!

Hopefully you either get AF soon so you know where your at or a BFP would be even better!

Has you been TTC for long??

Oh no. Answers about what? We are I'm cycle two. Pretty fresh into TTC but I stopped taking BC four months ago which ended up being perfect timing for our TTC when we decided we were ready... But at the time I stopped after years of suffering cause it was causing headaches and migranes and I had enough.

I had already started charting so I could keep an eye on things seeing as I wasn't on the pill. Hopefully we have done enough Bd this cycle for something to stick and we won't have to wait long for good news. Patience isn't my thing and I honestly don't know If I have the emotional strength to TTC long term like some ppl do for years.

My DS was a surprise too. I was on BC at the time and naively thought with my PCOS I really couldn't get pregnant at all. Lol. Wrong! He is six this month.

Very ready for bub 2. Have been for a while.. Just waiting for my partner to feel the same. It's all very exciting now that he has given the go ahead.. I can walk into a baby shop and ooh and ahh over cute things without him thinking I'm a total nutter. Now its justified. Lol.

With my PCOS my cycles have a history of being all over the shop. We have zero TTC experience before this. I have been marking down my cycles and using OPKs.

According to all my other signs I ovulated on Monday. We have been BD pretty much every other day. But my OPKs aren't really showing much action. The darkest line I got was Monday morning.. But it wasn't as dark as they say it should be. I ordered a different brand for next month. See If it makes any difference.

I am going to try my hardest not to test until AF is due. I don't want to be staring at sticks that may have a faint line and loose my mind testing over and over with PT. it's too much emotionally to be holding onto the hopes of a tiny little line. I will wait as long as possible to make sure if we are UTD its a dark positive. No questions.

What about u?? Wheres ur cycle?? What are you trying and what's that hardest part of it all for you ?

    xx

Oh man. That's crazy. Charting is both my friend and enemy. I like being able to keep a track of things but it also drives me nuts when OPKs dont tell me what the chart says it should.
Hope ur test shows something promising! FX !!
