    Default iui questions?

Hi all im new to this site so please excuse the horrible screen and most prob wrong placement of this post.

I just have some questions regarding ferlility clinics and costs and times. would be wonderful if anyone would be able to help.

my partner and i have decided to have baby number 2. As we are both female we are going to need some help.. my questions are..

~whats a good fertility clinic in brisbane?

~can someone give me a cost break down.. will 5k be enough? im healthy so we shouldnt need ivf.

~and from your first appointment how many weeks does it take until u are actually “trying“

thats about all for now.. i hope someone is able to answer..

    Thanks!

    Hey there!
I'm currently with QFG in brissie. They are awesome! I've done 2 iui's so far with them. After Medicare rebate you are looking at around $600 per cycle, or at least that's what it was for me, but that's before I hit the Medicare safety net. That was including drugs, sperm wash and transfer. Everything went ahead pretty quickly, hardly any waiting time. Hope this helps! Good luck

    Default iui questions?

Hi, I did IUI in Sydney so can't help with a Brisbane clinic but for us, one cycle of IUI, including donor sperm, cost $2680 (so 5k should be enough for 2 attempts)

Not sure of Brisbane clinics but I've recently started and it's approximately $80 per appointment, $950 for donor sperm per tube and $1020 for the cycle cost which includes scans, meds, sperm wash, insem etc... Then you get some back with Medicare also . But you may also have other costs... Like registration fees, other appointments, any extra tests etc... Good luck!!
