    Default Veggie Patties

Hoping to have veggie patties as a side with dinner tonight but I always seem to add to much flour which kills the taste so I'm wondering if anyone can advise how much you'd add?

    I have grated/finely chopped
    1 small zucchini
    1 small sweet potato
    1 medium potato
    1/8 cabbage
    1 onion
    1 medium carrot
    1/8 pumpkin

It's currently all draining and will for the afternoon, so with all that, rough 4-5 cups worth of veg, how much flour and egg do I add? I was thinking 1 cup flour plus 1 egg, plus a little seasoning.

I'm no good making these haha.

    TIA

No answer, just subbing as my veggie patties always end up too watery!

Haha yep that's why I have them draining all afternoon, the natural juices in the vegetables cause them to be too watery, especially when grated. Can try squeezing handfuls of the mixture before adding flour etc.

Seems to be the only thing I know about veggie patties haha.

This is the recipe I use http://www.grouprecipes.com/1954/veggie-patty.html

I add 1 egg and just the 2 tablespoons of flour in the recipe. They come out well.

I ended up added about 1/2 cup cheese, 1 cup flour and 2 eggs and they are delicious

DD has had 3 so far.
