Default Short term birth control pill for cycle control?

I am starting the Pill for 10-14 days.
The plan is I stop the pill then get a period to then do a FET before Christmas.

Does this even work? Has anyone else used the pill for such a short time to then cycle?
How long after I stop the pill before I get a period?
Anyone do this and get a BFP?

Hi fortitude, sorry to see you've had a rough time

Yes, thats what i've done for both FETs and it seems to work. I took levlen which is a nasty pill for me, but it does seem to regulate your cycle very well. Only thing to keep in mind is that when you stop, it might take 3-4 days for AF to start.

I hope this FET works out for you, i really do.

Default Short term birth control pill for cycle control?

Hi ladies I did a FET in September and took the pill before ( I took levlen too). My FS explained that the pill will reset all your hormones and then once you stop taking it and get AF your normal hormones kick back in. Some clinics make all patients take the pill as standard protocol. I got my BFP the cycle I used the pill and I'm currently 9 weeks + 4 days pregnant. Best of luck

Yeah I do this kind of thing all the time so I can time my cycles to fit in with me working away. Good luck
