    Default Chocolate cake?

So I just made a chocolate cake from a packet and was about to have some when my cousin told me I couldn't have it because it had egg in it and the eggs don't Cook properly in cakes. Is this true because I find it highly unlikely that a cake being in the oven for an hour the eggs would be cooked. Now I am second guessing myself and I was really looking forward to that cake

Nothing wrong with it! They say not to lick the spoon while mixing because of raw egg but a baked cake is absolutely fine. Enjoy your cake

That's what I thought too.. I have eaten it before she just really scared me. Maybe she misunderstood when they told her not to look the spoon or something. Thank you so much

no its raw egg you have to worry about, a cake is cooked on a high degree in the oven, it's fine.

You can't go a whole pregnancy without chocolate cake!
