    Default Song miss quotes

Have you ever got the lyrics to a song wrong?

When I was younger I always thought the words to a song were: "those petrol eyes, those petrol eyes" instead they were "those bedroom eyes, those bedroom eyes"

I was only about 10 so maybe that's why my mum didn't correct me and why she didn't like me singing it.

'Like a twister I was born to walk alone' instead of drifter - that White Snake song

    And

'Stay the night, tomorrow I'll be gone' instead of save the night - always thought whoever was staying with him was a little slutty!

When I was around 5 I used to sing "oh Milo" instead of all fired up

My friend used to always sing "You wanna make a...Silverside bun!" instead of "You wanna make her Suicide Blonde" in the INXS song Always gave us a giggle.

When Shannon Noll released his version of 'what about me' my head baker at work used to sing 'I've had enough now I've got grey hair ", instead of "now I want my share". Still first thing that comes to mind if I hear that song.

Also of you look up 'somebody that I used to know' parody by key of awesome on you tube then that's now what comes into my head when I hear that song.

My dd1 last Christmas 2 1/2 was screaming out that she had the "moves like jacket, moves like jacket". (And what exactly are "moves like Jagger"?)

My little brother used to sing "shake it like a polar bear pizza" instead of shake it like a Polaroid picture in "hey ya" so cute

DH's counsin's son used to sing "like a cheese stick" for "like a G6".

The other day DH asked me what the words were to a Paul Simon song when it was on the tv ("You can call me Al"), when I told him he went, "Ohhh, 'call meow' never did make much sense")!
