We had sex on a Friday morning, my husband then left for interstate, and I ovulated late the following Tuesday night/Wednesday morning (according to OPKs and BBT rise). I am now 9w2d pregnant.
So it was essentially 5 days.
There is conflicting information, as it really depends on your cervical mucus at the time you have sex. The more fertile the mucus, the longer sperm will last.
Personally, I thought 5 days was pushing our luck...but apparently not!

Wow! I didn't realize it can be that long! That makes me feel a bit better as I'm getting confused as to if I have or haven't ovulated this month and we missed a couple of days and thought I'd missed it.... But hopefully not!

Stupid question but does anyone know when they say a day if it means 24hr period? Ie dtd 4pm one day then is the day 4pm the first day or is it at midnight?
