Hello Baby Doctor. Do u have any advice on male fertility. my husband has Bilaterial Varicoceles. I am based in Perth and have just been told that there may not be a urologist who is based in Perth who can preform microsurgery. Do u recommend anyone. Or do you think that i should just go straight to IVF? any advice is greatly appreciated. i am now fertile as i just had emdemitiosis removed and i have no other problems

Hello Dreamtocometrue. did your doctor advise you to have a laproscopy? (sorry if this is wrong spelling). i just started recently and the first thing they did for me was blood tests, ultra sound and laproscopy. it was during the lap that they found emdemetriosis which they removed during the lap.

did your doctor ever mention a lap to you? i would ask your doctor for 1...

have you been trying to conceive for long?

    Default Fertility Specialist

@Babydoctor Hi. I hope someone can offer advice.
I'm 28 and I live in Perth. My wife an I have been trying to conceive. I have been diagnosed with azoospermia after 2 negative semen analysis. I had a testicular biopsy which showed no sperm. I had 2 brain tumours as a child and had to have chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. Has anyone else had similar history and successfully fathered a child?
    Thanks so much.
    Johnathan
