    Default Isofix. Legal 2013??

DS2 has almost outgrown his seat. Ive heard around that Isofix will be legal in 2013. Is this correct? Anyone have concrete evidence. Also if its true, where do i buy a seat. I havent heard of any baby stores carrying them. I need a new seat by approx Jan/Feb but dont want to buy one unless i cant get Isofix (my car has Isofix)

Wow that is pretty cool. And your car is isofix ready? My car is 12 months old and I am pretty sure it isn't. Bummer, they look great.

I have heard that its definatly going ahead, not sure on a start date though. Ithe changes to the laws are in reveiw stage I believe.

Short of importing a seat (which I think you will be able to once isofix is legal) I very much doubt you will be able to buy a seat in Australia for ages.

All of this is just what I gather from a few pages I have read

What kind of car do you have? I thought all new cars would have it? My car is an '08' model and it does.

    I thought this too.

Our 2006 Nissan Pathfinder has Isofix too, but only 2 points (not in the middle). I would definitely like to get a carseat with Isofix when we have a third child.
