Hi All, I got my daughter's swim ring yesterday, which was perfect timing as the weather was beautiful for the beach today ... Problem is, neither my husband or I could blow it up?! We've had something similar before, so we are aware of the whole 'pinch the sides in to open the valve' .. but no luck .......... Anyone else have any troubles or maybe we got a dud?

I had the same problem with the floaties, I just kept squeezing the valve and after a while it worked but did take a bit of effort, sorry that isnt very helpful.

I found biting down just before the valve (swim ring end) works a treat. The bright side is once air its in and you go to plug it up it doesn't gush out. its a sign of good quality. Also makes it harder for air to escape if little bubs or you accidentally undo the plug while in the water.

I submitted my review but I wasn't able to put a star rating on it. I think I pushed enter instead of shift

Just post in here what star rating (out of 5) you'd like to give it and I'll add that star rating in for you.

The 3.5 year old is loving her swim vest. Such good timing with the delivery too, we were up the coast on holidays (rented a house with a pool) and my dad was house sitting my place when it arrived. He planned on coming up the next day so brought the vest with. She used it every day in the pool (sometimes twice a day). Now that we're home she's really looking forward to visiting the local public pool next week. (Also just got invited to a BBQ at my brothers place tomorrow so guess who'll be swimming in his pool).

Thanks for giving me to opportunity to trial the vest.
