    I only needed hep b, cost me $20. Immune to everything else.

    Oh wow. That's not too bad. I think i will probably need a few. Will have to get a serology report done first i guess.
    Have you done your police check as well? We were told it could take 6-8 weeks to come through.
    I should really get around to organising all this soon.

    Yeah had to have all that done before even getting offered a place in the course! With the police check they took reciept as proof. Which was good as i was slack and organized everything 3days before it was due, including getting my first aid certificate! Thr police check only took 2 weeks, i am in qld though guess it varies depending on state.

    Oh ok. We don't have to have proof of anything until we go on placements at week 10. We get to do our first aid certificate as part of the course as well.
    I might head to a police station tomorrow after TAFE and do the police check.

    Did you start your course this week?

    Immunity and I only needed hep b. did anyone else get hep a?

    I don't think there was mention of hep a on the paper work we were given.
    Currently sitting at the police station, getting my police check done. Why does it take so long?

    Mine either. I just know a few people that went for their hep b and Docters advised getting the double a and b.

    Oh ok. I'm still yet to make a doctors appointment. Will get around to it next week. So will let you know what they advise after my serology report has been done.

    We only need hep a for pediatrics electives... cost $60 for that one!! Im not plannng in doing that unit though so one less needle, yay! we have orientation Monday... How are you going with it?
