    Default Enrolled Nursing Students

    Hi All

Im six months into my Diploma of Nursing course and am interested to hear from any other enrolled nursing students on how you are going juggling study, parenting and working (if applicable)

I started my course when my son was five months old. It is always something I have wanted to do and after having him it gave me the confidence to go for it. I also work in a nursing home three shifts per week. my husband is very supportive but I sometimes feel I am drowning in commitments and have taken too much on.

Our clinical placements start in Feb so I will have to put my son in child care five days per week ( he currently goes three ) so that will be hard but I know it's all worth it in the end.

If anyone has any study tips that would be great especially for exams where you have to memorise lots of information eg. Anatomy and philology and medications.

    Hello
I'm studying at care training Australia and its going good thanks!!! One more exam to go and then done for the year. Can't wait until next year to do placements and have more time in the lab, we have done mainly theory stuff this year but it has still been interesting. Are you also studying EEN? If so where abouts?

I'm thinking about doing it next year. Still can't decide.
I'm 37 and haven't done any school work / study since school.
I've also got kids so going to be hard

I'm starting in February after completing an 8week intro to nursing course in 2012 😊
I have the same fears. It will be 4 days a week and I know a lot of study! I'm worried about the lack of time ill have for dd let alone anything (anyone) else.
