Default 50 year old woman breastfeeding 4 year old...? what do you think?

I saw in either Woman's Day or New Idea (can't remember which) an article where a 50 year old woman was still breastfeeding her 4 year old...

    thoughts?

Why is it any different to a 30yo still feeding their 4yo? If they are happy, that's all that matters.

each to their own. I don't think her age makes any difference and if she wants to feed her child for that long, her choice, she's got her own child's best interests at heart like any mum. I don't really know why it was a magazine though, its not really news worthy.

All of the above. Perfectly normal imo...

Have I missed the point? A woman breastfeeding her own child....what's the problem?

Not an issue for me. I don't care who feeds their child or for how long.

Curious though, was the article focussing more on the fact she was 50 or that the child was 4?

I heard this woman being interviewed the other day on radio.
"people" actually rang in saying it was disgusting, and she was damaging her child because it would leave her with memories of sucking a breast.
    It was hideous.
I can't believe people actually care that much that much to make unfounded ridiculous comments.

It's just a non issue for me.
