i cant help sorry, i never found them painful with my first and im 33 weeks with my 2nd and only ever feel the tightness which sometimes starts at the top and moves around and down, or Sometimes starts at the bottom and moves up.They dont bother me at all. Some people say they get painful as labour approaches, but not im my case. Everyone is different!

I found they were sometimes painful depending on how bub was lying. If bub is putting too much pressure in certain spots it would make them hurt.

My BFF had constant painful braxton hicks right through her last pg. Hopefully you don't have too many more! And they do generally get more uncomfortable towards the end of your pg, but not always.

    Default Braxton hicks

When I was 32 weeks I flew from bris to melb and I was so uncomfortable that I started experiencing bad braxton hicks. It was like a vise was squeezing my tummy and I would just about cry. It was more than a bit of tightening, it was my tummy going really hard and I think even my cervix (tmi) was aching. Labour pain felt different, pain was more pronounced and in a diff place sometimes, but not extremely different. You'll know when your labour starts for real I reckon though
