/I regret getting DS who is all most 8 all his gadgets, Laptop , ipod touch, nintendo ds, wii, lcd tv ect ect ect. It causes many arguments as he does not like the limitations we put on the them regarding playing time and game ratings and is always trying to get away with going against our rules for these gadgets, its always battle after battle

I regret buying most of their toys tbh. It gets played with for a few days, then pretty much tossed aside.
For christmas this year they're getting one thing each and a kitchen and basketball hoop to share. I'm sick of the mess and plastic cr@p everywhere.

Those plastic dress up high heels.

My mum would never let me have any so the second DD asked for some I bought them.

    Big mistake. Huge.

My mum was so right. Those things are evil.

Anything that makes too much noise that my DSD forgets to turn off... And I didn't but any of them... Her grandmother bought her a Dora laptop and she loves it but it drives both DP and I bonkers because all she does is button mash to hear all the different noises, not play the actual games!

Probably the guinea pigs. Had other pets and they are fine. But the guinea pigs I find eat heaps (lots of fresh vegetables) are quite a lot of work (cleaning pen every day and setting them up on the grass every morning, bringing them in at night) and the kids don't ever play with them, and if they do I can't help but hover and am relieved when they finally go back outside. They are adorable and I love them, but not worth the time and money really.

Fisher-Price jumperoo. It's hardly been used & it cost $200. It was his main Xmas present last year.

I should probably try and sell it but I'm a bit lazy with stuff like that!

Smart trike worked fine, we just live in a hilly area and never used it so was a waste of money. I re-sold it for $40 though.
