    I think the dog abuse story actually turned a lot of voters away from Romney.

    It was something he did a long time ago but resurfaced during all this- he once drove 12 hours to Canada with his dog in a carrier on his car roof. The story goes that the dog was stressed and suffered diarrhoea which Mitt hosed out then continued on the trip, dog still on roof.

    I'm surprised at the numbers I would have thought it was a lot closer but very relieved that Obama won, I think America has chosen well.
