    Default Disposing of medicines

Can you put in the bin or do they have to be disposed of specifically somewhere?

I have just cleaned out our medicine cupboard and have a pile of expired meds I need to get rid of. It's a mix, antibiotics, strepsils, cold n flu tablets, blood pressure meds, hay fever meds.

    Thanks!!

You can take them to your local chemist & they will dispose of appropriately

    Default Disposing of medicines

Thanks guys. I thought that might be the best idea, but I didn't want the ppl working there to think I'm a nutcase if its not necessary.

    Will go in the morning.

don't flush them in the loo or down the sink. take them to the pharmacy and they can dispose of them for you.

    Default Disposing of medicines

When my gran passed away we took a shopping bag full of medication to the chemist of stuff to dispose of. That would have looked interesting!
