Default Delightful December 2012 testing thread!

I had D&C in April and I got AF right on time 27 days later, I then found out it was a molar pregnancy so had to use the (mini)pill for 6 months but my cycles were pretty consistant. First month of TTC again in August I had a chem pregnancy so then I started worrying that maybe there was damage to my uterus and that I'd now have implantation problems! I did a bit of bubhub research and there are women who have major issues after D&C but I think it's pretty rare.

Our due date would've been 24 Oct so that's passed for us and I thought I'd be really upset if I wasn't UTD by then but I think for me having had a chem pregnancy was actually a good thing as I know I can get pregnant again. It's now just the waiting that gets to me! DH did just say the other day how unfair it was and that we should have a 1 month old by now. It sucks! I'm trying to just enjoy my DS at the moment and trying to look on the brightside of having a larger age gap.

If I don't get pregnant this month it'll be 12 months of TTC (well sort of since 2 pregnancies and a few month of taking the pill in there). I'm hoping for a Xmas day BFP but if not I'll go to my GP in the new year. Not sure what she can do as I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating (OPK and BBT and 2 pregnancies!) and my luteal phase seems to be about 13 days which shouldn't be a problem and DH's swimmers are obviously OK hence the 2 pregnancies. I guess we've got to just wait for the right swimmer and egg combo! Hopefully this month's waiting will go super quick for everyone with Christmas to keep us occupied. I'll be ovulating sometime between Thursday and Saturday next week so should be in the TTW already by this time next week! For once I'm really happy about short cycles
Thanks for sharing hun! Yep I'm with ya... Worried something is wrong. I didn't have a MC in July, I had to have a D&C as my egg didn't split properly and my twins were conjoined it was horrible.
It's been 13 months for us, I was pregnant for 3 months and now it's been 5 months of bfn's. last month I had a chem I think. Very faint line right away, then I got AF. I know I O'd and my LP was only 10 days so I wasn't sure if it was enough
Whenever I've gone to my GP though, they just tell me not to stress and since I've been pregnant twice (once with DD who is 21 months and the other was my angel babies) then I can obviously get pregnant.
I think I need to see a fertility specialist who actually knows what I'm worried about, not a GP.
    I'm considering acupuncture now too.

    Hey surprisedmum2be,

I've been attending Acupuncture and more recently commenced on a weekly basis. The lady I see specialises in Fertility, which is a bonus, and she put me on Ovarianne to help get my ovaries etc into order :-)

Unfortunately I can't TTC this month as I literally just had a MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella) shot, so have to wait until my next cycle.

So it won't be until the end of January when I can test again and I hope that we have a BF"P" then :-)

The Acupuncture sessions sure do make you relax! and you feel great afterwards (sometimes sleepy, but you snap out of it). I have back problems too, and it's an instant relief - apparently the back can be treated as well as the fertility side of it at the same time as the needles go in the same positions! :-) Yey!

Since starting the Ovarianne and attending Acupuncture I noticed initially with AF that (sorry TMI coming up) it was quite dark and clotty, now it's a bright red fresh colour - so it's certainly helped clean me out as such haha.

Only good things can come from Acupuncture - from my experience so far anyway.

    So bring on January 2013!

    :-)

is anyone else getting so frustrated with all of this? every twinge I get I stop what I'm doing and think 'OOH! what was that?' and just straight on the computer to ask others.
I'm going crazy! it seems absolutely crazy that people get pregnant by accident on a one night stand. I'm going insane, I need a hobby that isn't BubHub. lol!

Hey Surprised sorry to hear about your twins, must've been very upsetting. If your luteal phase is always short then I think that is where vitex (can someone confirm this?) and accupunture can help.

Now I'm really confused. I have been testing with opk twice a day since af ended don't use fmu do test around 10am and about 7/8pm.

For the last three mornings my test line has been as dark as the control line within the 10min timeframe but when I test at night I am not even getting a test line only a control line.

Wth and I am on like day 21 I think. Why would I be getting two lines in morning but only one at night?

    I'm with you jorjarenee!
Currently a few days into the tww.
Probably too early to even have implanted, but a tiny stomach cramp this arvo and couldn't help but wonder. Never mind the fact I've had stomach issues in the past and stomach cramps were a common occurrence!

Didn't get on the PC tonight lovely's, will definitely fix up the list tomorrow.

I'm having some serious emotional issues at the moment. I never snap at DH and I bit his head off twice today. I've cried about 4 times for no reason, I burst in to tears in the middle of Cole's because I didn't know what to have for dinner! I hope my emotions sort themselves out soon, DH doesn't know what to do with me. CD4 for me today. I'm so sorry for not doing personals this weekend. x

Princessleah, You have so much going on in your life atm, I'm not surprised you are feeling emotional. I'm sure DH understands that you are under a lot of stress right now . We are all here to listen to you if you need us xx

AFM: I've been keeping a low profile but I'm still hanging around to see how everyone is getting along with their ttc journey even though AF has paid me a visit this month. to all.

I wouldn't worry too much. All the drs and my gyno say that those tests arnt always 100% because they pick up other hormones which give random results, I'm 9dpo and still getting near positives with the opks and with my pregnancy I lost recently I got a postive opk before a pregnancy test BFP which I found weird.
