can someone explain opk's to me? i started using them a couple of days ago and have been getting a very faint second line - is this what all negitives look like or if you were to take one nowhere near ovulation it wouldnt show any second line?

also how accurate are they? can you ovulate with them not showing 2 lines?

Default Re: Delightful December 2012 testing thread!

Mopoke - I've only just started using them myself in the last couple of months, but I don't start testing until I'm 3-4 days out from my expected O day, so I've been seeing a gradual increase from very light (negatives) 2nd lines, becoming darker each day.

I've seen other people report that they don't get the gradual increase, just a very faint 2nd line until suddenly it's darker than the control. I'm guessing that if that happens for you, it would be a good idea to keep a record of any other fertile signs you notice as it could be easy to miss your window.

Congrats K17, very exciting fx for a happy 9 mths

for those of you just joining, Im sorry af came to visit and wishing you all the best this month. Welcome!

Mopoke, Im the opposite of aralis. I get almost no test line for days (this month cd9 - 13) then BAM, very dark test line. I am really using them for confirmation of o and relying more on my body signs.

afm, I am going to o later than i expected, I expected cd13 but think it will really be cd 16 so I guess af will be due later. (im a poasaholic so will still probably test at the same date though haha)

    Have a great weekend everyone
