I would say it would depend when you implanted? and you might have low hcg levels naturally when pregnant so it is still picking up viable pregnancy, just not in the limits for a 3-4?

Catkin posted this link a while back this week, think it has good info http://www.clearblue.com/uk/HCP/pdf/...r_brochure.pdf

you will see in their chart on page 5 that some people at 4 weeks still only have hcg levels of the 1-2 week max

Default Delightful December 2012 testing thread!

Seems to be more of a rough approximation of what ur levels would be if everyone fit into that perfect little box.

I always wondered how they knew how many weeks you were before I read all this info too.

Levels are on about p17 iir... in a paragraph of text. Basically >25 1-2 weeks, >200 2-3 weeks >2000 3+ weeks. Doubling time of HcG is normally between 48-72 hours so if you got the 1-2 week one when you had 25, it would be 50 2-3days after that, then 100 2-3 days after that then 200 2-3 days after that, so it could take 9 days to go up and still be completely normal. Plus some of those tests are more/less sensitive than others. I got Pregnant 2-3 weeks on Xmas Day, so my HcG should, by that measure, have been 200+ then however my blood test 2 days later was 250miu, and 2 days after that 550 which means I have a doubling time of about 42 hours so there's nothing wrong with my HcG levels and means the test must have over estimated my HcG... I have seen some websites where people have got 1-2w, 2-3w and 3+ weeks from the same pot of pee too!!
