Default Can you put a swaddled baby in a sling?

I've never used a sling before, just an ergo, but I'm looking at buying the Breeze Baby Sling to deal with a newborn (no. 3) in the heat of summer. I know you need to be very careful with how you put a baby in a sling for SIDS reasons, but are you allowed to put a baby in a sling already swaddled?

I wouldn't have thought it would be very comfy for them... Is there a reason you want to be them in swaddled? Also it would be really hot!

Sorry, didn't really explain myself very well. I live in Victoria, so summer can be very hot but there can also be some quite cool days. The breeze baby sling is made of very light fabric and i thought some days the baby might be quite cold in it, if I wasn't able to wrap it up.

I'm sure I did at some point. But make sure you follow ticks safe baby wearing guide.
