Default Those who children have had tonsils removed

My DD2 will be 4 in January and she had her tonsils removed just after her 2nd birthday. Ever since then she loses her voice, gets a croup like cough at night once a month and complains of a sore throat. The GP continues to say give her rediprep for the cough and her throat looks fine.
Has anyone else had this problem with their LO's and if so was it ever fixed?

I have had 2 kids have there's out and not had any problems. I would be seeing another doctor and getting a referral to the ENT clinic to have it looked at. Redipred is steroids and not good for little people and should only be used if she is having trouble breathing. I would definitely be getting a second opinion

After using the rediprep twice in 2 months I refused to give it to her again. I can't get back into our ENT before we move interstate so I will have to book one for when we move.. Didn't think it seemed right!!
