Default Newborn & how often to FF

    Hi ladies,

My DS is 4 weeks old and for the last week he has been feeding every 3 hours on the dot. He is drinking 100mls each time. Prior to this I would have to wake him at 4 hours to feed so I'm wondering if it's a growth spurt??

Does this sound "normal" I thought as they got older they would space out their feed times to 4 hours.

    Hey babe,

Totally normal! Like you said probably a growth spurt, and he'd be having more & more awake time now (you probably won't even have to worry about waking him up for a feed anymore)... He'll be using up more energy & get hungrier more often until he can take the bigger feeds to keep his tummy fuller for longer.. Xx
