Default DTD, how often to bring on labour?

Hoping for VBAC and will be encouraging labour from Monday. Just wondering how often you DTD whilst trying to bring on labour and if it worked?
We're averaging 3-4 times a week ATM but have told DF to be prepared for twice daily lol.
Am also using EPO vaginally and will be walking up our local look out which is quite steep.

For the last two weeks we DTD at least once a day, sometimes twice. On the day I went into labour we DTD once and I saw to myself twice between say 5-9pm, I woke up at 11pm in labour

Default DTD, how often to bring on labour?

I tried this too with my last baby, I tries so many things.
We did it every day sometimes twice And I was still 5 days over due. :/

Have you thought of nipple stimulation or Clary Sage oil? They both brought on strong braxton hicks for me, which I think helped my labour be easier, also acupuncture can also help bring on labour.

Asked OB if sex can bring on labour, apparently if you sleep with 900 men in a day it may work! It has to do with prostaglandin which is found in semen, apparently you need very large quantities

I think it's orgasms that help stimulate contractions, not sex in itself. Not to say the two are mutually exclusive... heh... but you can have one without the other IYKWIM. I did once a day for the few weeks before (had an extreme libido for the first time all pregnancy!) and labour started a few days prior EDD. I reckon it works.

    Orgasm for oxytocin.

But also stimulating that area (think stretch and sweep but *hopefully* more fun)

And prostaglandin in the seamen "applied" locally to soften the cervix.

But my experience pregnant with katelyn was just inducing BH contractions. :-/

I tried everything except castor oil, and still got induced at 2 weeks overdue. However, nipple stimulation gave me contractions if I did it long enough, but they would stop as soon as I stopped, and I was nervous to do it too much because of the mixed opinions on whether it is safe or not, and it gave me very strong contractions so I was scared to hurt the baby!
