I have always frozen mine. I think they are ingham brand (i get them from woolies). I have never had a problem. I never eaten them that day as there are way too many in the pack (24).

Maybe check out the website to see if you can find why they aren't suitable to be frozen?

My guess is they are frozen when they're sent to supermarkets and since you're not supposed to re-freeze meat if defrosted, they're covering their bums.

I always re-freeze meat if I defrosted too much and have never had a problem!

I'm wondering if they are not suitable for freezing because they may have already been frozen and thawed before they landed in the supermarket ?

Eta - oh snap RR ....although I wouldn't use them but that's me, I have a "thing" about chicken

Default BIG HUGE PROBLEM!! please help.

The supermarkets receive them frozen and they are thawed when put put on show for sale. It is advisable not to refreeze them because it reduces the quality of the product. It's also possible for bacteria to quickly multiply when frozen, thawed, frozen and thawed again. Hope this helps.

I have always frozen these! It was only recently that I noticed the 'not suitable for freezing' tag, lol. And no, we haven't died
