With one of mine I went straight to dreamworld for lunch on the way home from hospital.

I go out the day I get out of hospital.

Default When did you start taking your newborn out?

Not until 5 weeks but they came home at 3 weeks old and I was paranoid.
This one I'm hoping to be out and about straight away.

Default When did you start taking your newborn out?

I had a csection and was going crazy in hospital. The day I got out we went to a friends birthday at the local park, followed by a trip to the local shopping centre. My MIL wanted to kill me! Lol.

DS would've been 3 days old, we went to Ikea to get some curtains for my mother.

DD was 3 days old and it was on my way home from hospital, I needed a microwave for the bottles.

I wore both babies and they weren't being passed around.

The day out of hospital as my now ex in laws ate all the meals I had pre prepared and frozen. They didn't think to buy milk bread etc and we had literally a bare fridge and cupboard on arrival because try invited other people to stay in our house without our knowledge whilst in hospital.

This time it won't be like that fortunately.

I was in hospital for 4 days, went out for walks days 5 and 6, day 7 we took DS to a 30th birthday party at a bar. (daytime. In the beer garden. So it wasn't like taking him to a club or anything...)

DD3 was 3 days old. 6 weeks would drive me crazy, she's only 3 weeks now I would not survive 6 weeks at home!
