Default What to do when you have an hour to spare

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and I get about 1 1/2 hours a day while my youngest two sleep.
I sleep on the couch....every day.
I have too. Otherwise the rest of the day is like torture.
Hoping I get some more energy one of these days.
I feel guilty as then I'm doing dinner/washing/jobs etc after school instead of playing with them...
It's so hard to find a balance.

I'm sorry if i offended anyone or my post seemed insensitive or ignorant, i guess I've just been blessed with easy babies & i honestly don't think I'd cope as well as some of you seem to with newborns sleeping for 30 mins at a time during the night honestly, i take my hat off to you.

I'm just jealous. When DD was little she didn't sleep. I'd have given anything for an hour to myself!

    I would probably nap.

I don't get a spare hour until the kids go to bed at night because DS1 doesn't nap anymore. I get time to sit down and go on FB etc if the kids are playing together (nicely!), but not an *undisturbed* full hour like back when I had one or no kids.

When the boys used to nap at the same time I would make myself a coffee and just sit down and read.

At my mothers group one girl was crying coz her baby would only sleep for 40 mins at a time. And all her friends with new babies were bragging about what good peaceful babies they had. Which just made her feel worse.

I'm currently on the lounge feeding my baby to sleep and I haven't even eaten since breakfast. It's 8pm.
    it's so hard

I have days I don't eat. I was lucky on Halloween I had chocolate in the house because some days food that can be prepared with one hand is all you can eat.
I need to restock in snacks and stuff. Because the odd day I don't put her down I don't get one *meal*

I seriously hope katelyn is teething again because she was coming "good" but the last few days she's back to being a koala baby.

Had a win tonight, got to put bub in her sling and eat a hot meal(!!) and load the dishwasher whilst she slept in it. Then she was content in her rocker for long enough that I could put a load of washing on.

Sorry Loumia just sometimes it is hard, and I have a pretty easy bub, just she loves to be in arms which makes things a lot more complicated.

    Anyway, going off topic..

I get to sleep or bh or watch my trash tv!
I get about 3 hours spare everyday, I do the vacuuming when it's DD's morning tea and then dishes etc just before lunch. She's very independent and plays by herself while i'm cleaning or comes help me vacuum.
Off to bed after lunch for her so from 12:30 -3:30 I get free time for me!

DD doesn't nap any more, but when she did I used to waste a lot of time on my computer! I'd eat, catch up with emails, etc., and sometimes do some writing.

She plays independently now, but I don't feel as relaxed as when I knew there would be 2 hours of quiet!
