Go to the toilet in peace. Have something to eat. BH. just sit on the lounge chair enjoying the peace and quiet. not necessarily in that order cos you can guarantee as soon as I go to the toilet I will hear a waaaa or muuum or knock knock anyone home or ring ring.

    This lol ^^
Honestly my DD is only 6 weeks and I'm yet to experience a 'free' hour. As soon as she is down in bed (rare) I race around trying to go to the toilet, shower, fill my belly and do the clothes washing.

Maybe I'm doing this wrong lol.

    Do a workout dvd
    Watch a movie/tv show
Read a book or the newspaper
Waste the whole hour on BH
    Nap
Bake- not a fan of baking with DS, he likes to eat giant handfuls of plain flour

Not sew... I leave that for the evenings as i have to set everything up in the lounge and then pack it all away so it's not worth doing in an hour.

I must be in the SAHM minority because i get a least a couple of hours of 'spare' time most days & have done since DD was a newborn & this is after the house is scrubbed spotless, DD is bathed, fed, had play time etc. I know this sounds like bragging but i'm honestly not, & i know everyone's circumstances/babies are different but is it really that difficult to find an hour each day for yourself ? without sacrificing a reasonably clean house etc ?
