Default Multiples - how and when did you find out?

This makes me scared for my scan in a couple weeks everyone thinks I'm having twins (high hcg and my tummy's starting to pooch out already).

I'm worried as my levels are high ( doubling every 44hrs) but I've also read girl babies produce higher hcg

I was vomiting from 5weeks ( I knew I was pregnant, could tell from about 3 weeks. I asked my GP for a referral and she said I was being silly as there wouldn't be anything to see - in your face Dr B!tch, I came back and said TOLD you there was two. Changed to another GP after that appt

My scan was 6w4d and both my twins had heart beats and were perfectly healthy. My sonographer said 'I don't mean to alarm you' that made me feel I'll instantly... But all was well and is well

I'm 8 weeks and I just found out at my 7 week scan. Before the lady doing the scan even said anything, I was looking at the screen thinking, is that 2 blobs rather than one? She then said, gee that looks like a 2nd heartbeat there and it was, but then she commented that one looked smaller than the other, which was plain to see. She did some measurements and then said, it's actually only measuring 1 week smaller, although it looks much smaller than the other one. It's heartbeat's good.

hi there...ive just found out at my 12 week scan that we are indeed having twins. big moment for me as i already have three kids and was 'done' shall we say.

i have no idea how im going to manage 5 kids under the age of 7. im seriously freaking out as i was still trying to wrap my head around having one more and then to find out that my nightmares that i had been having were actually true and that there is two in there...WOW. so no only do i have to replace everything that i got rid of...i now need two of everything.

apparently they are fraternal with two sacks and two placentas and are currently measuring 4 days apart in measurements.

i really dont know how im going to manage.

5 under 7, you will have your hands full! what does your DH/DP think about you having twins? Have you told your other children yet? It took DH and I a while to get our heads around having twins but now we are over the moon
