Ours went up today it's a fibre optic tree and I've put it up on a table in hopes that my 20 month old leaves it alone (uh, yeah right!)

You might be able to get a bigger tree from a Christmas shop I've seen some huge ones around!
I think our tree is about 6 foot, not really sure, but it is about the same height as DH and I know he's 6 foot - it was given to us by the next door neighbour, after his wife passed away he gave us all her Christmas things. I was reluctant to replace the tree as I didn't want to hurt his feelings but we've had it for 5 years now and it is starting to look a bit "thin" in places. So I don't think he'll mind, he always comes over to see the tree after we've put it up. Our ceilings are 10 foot too, so I was hoping for something about 8 foot high.

With all my decorations - there are a lot! plus with the one's the neighbour gave us I don't have room to hang them all on the tree!

I love this one - the colours are great! And I really like the star on top. we used to have our tree in a wooden play pen when the girls were smaller.

I got out tree at the sales last year. It's a 7.5 foot one. I think I'm going to have to buy 10x as many ornaments as I have because our last one pretty small!! Though I always had a box of decorations left over even after decorating the tree

I have a specific colour theme and style but now that DD is older, it's going out the window! She is coming shopping to pick all our new ones and decorate the tree.
