Default Inconsistent clarks kids shoe sizing?

Well ive just come home from the headache that it childrens shoe shopping and purchased DD a pair of clarks sandals after trying on many different sizes and brands in different shops

Strange thing was in Myer the 6.5 clarks sandal was just fitting her but not much room for growth and the 7 was too big. So annoying!

Ended up in David Jones and the exact same shoe the size 6.5 fitted perfect with growth room? You could even see it was bigger than the 6.5 in Myer?? So i got them.

Has anyone else found these inconsistencies in sizing? I thought it was strange is all and giving a heads up to others who are summer shoe shopping to be aware!!

We have few stores that sell shoes, one thing I ALWAYS tell people is even if you are wearing a size 8 in say an Asics shoe, doesn't mean you will be an 8 in another Asics shoe, or even the exact same shoe! It shouldn't be the case, but it is!

Not surprised at all that it's the same with Clarks! Makes getting shoes a painful exercise!

argh tell me about it poor DD tried on so many shoes. I found at Target she was in between a 6 and 7 and they dont do half sizes and the clarks were the only pair that fit right and were the style i wanted.

I thought it was strange tho, should be inconsistent like that!

Im glad i tried them on in a different store cause for that price you want to get some wear out of them
