Dd sometimes fights sleep (she's 27m) now I pop her down and leave, if she dosent nod off she will get up and grab a few books then eventually go to sleep. She will sometimes sit there for 20 mins chattering away to herself.

Does he like reading? Maybe give him a couple of books to read in bed?
