Default THIS is why I hate Halloween!

Stupid d*ckhead kids throwing sh*t at our cars (eggs and rocks I'm assuming) and making a crack in DP's new ute's window!

    Freaking little jerks.

We had 2 teens knock a few years back, looked about 14, not dressed up... and I thought they looked a bit old for trick or treating but anyhoo... we didn't have anything bc our town doesn't really get into it. I was polite and apologised. We found some superficial damage to our car the next day and our bin was kicked over

This sort of behaviour is condoned? We don't damage others property if they don't celebrate Christmas, Ramadan etc .... so why do people think its fine to vanadilise on Halloween if someone doesn't give them lollies?

That really sucks Stacey, i'd be very annoyed too. We had some cute little trick or treaters which was fine, don't think they damaged anything though. Little a'holes though.

well that's what trick or treat means. No treat means they play a trick on you, and the definition of what trick is, can be pretty open to interpretation unfortunately.

That absolutely sucks!!! I didn't even think of kids actually 'tricking'. I put a padlock on my gate to keep them out but unfortunately my car has to be kept out on the street and i live in a really undesirable area.

Oooh that's terrible! I don't mind getting 'tricked' so long as it's just TP or silly string or something that's easily cleaned and not permanent damage. It's a part of the fun iykiwm?
But actual damage and being rude is NOT on. Especially not damage that costs money to repair! What a bunch of turds.

It's such a shame. We just got back from trick or treating with the kids and they had an absolute ball. We only go to houses that are decorated. I don't know why a few have to ruin it for everyone else.
