I was going to go look at a second hand McLaren tomorrow for $50. It has the vibrate mode etc.
however I was looking at baby bunting and they have ones for 99 that vibrate and have music. Comfort and harmony ones. So I'm wondering now what would be better?

And what's better a rocker or a bouncer? Or do many options these days!

It probably depends on your budget and what you want it to do.

We have a Fisher Price little lamb cradle n swing. It's fabulous and will either rock or swing with must and a mobile. It's pretty expensive though, about 299 new, but I'm sure there are some decent second hand ones about. My DS loves it and it looks so comfortable sometimes I think I could crawl in.
It's also pretty large so doesn't travel well.

We also have and older style rocker which just swings front to back. It's much lower to the floor than the fisher price one, which I find is a pain to bend to the ground to pick DS up.

Hope that helps. There are sooo many swings on the market!

Fp cradle swing AND a bouncer. Lol! I have both and love them both. Bouncer is portable so you can take them around the house with you, into the bathroom while you have a shower etc. swing when they are unsettled and need to sleep.

I found my LO wasn't all that interested in the music on our rocker and the vibrations mode just seemed to weird him out a bit and he never settled when it was on. He grew out of our swing and rockers really fast, we only got a couple of months use out of them so wasn't really worth the money for us.
FWIW I recommend the Baby Bjorn Babysitter Balance bouncer. Very simple, no bells and whistles, but fantastic quality, safe and comfy for bub and converts to a fun bouncy toddler chair so will last for ages. Can recline for naps or sit upright which is great for reflux.
All bubs are different though, I'm sure you will find something that works for you

I ended up picking up a second hand auto bouncer. I thought as its only used for a few months it wasn't worth spending money on s brand new one.
