I'm so so sorry to read that someone else is going through this welcome to the club that none of us want to be a member of. I lost my son at 39 weeks and i had him naturally as I was already in labour when we found out that we had lost him

Firstly with your older daughter there is a great book called 'we were gonna have a baby, but we had an angel instead' - google it.

Think about memories that you can create with your baby when they are born eg. Hand & foot castings or professional photos (look up heartfelt on FB they will organize someone to do them free of charge) I know it might feel weird to be taking pics of your bubba but looking back now I wished I had taken so many more (and I have close to 100 photos!) check out every inch of your babies body, I didn't and I wish I did. See your baby again at the funeral home if you can, they really do a lovely job of looking after babies and my son looked alot better there than he did in hospital.

Look up SANDS, pregnancy loss Australia & the stillbirth foundation Australia. You will find a wealth of information on their websites.

I'm so so sorry again, please let us know what happens when you see your ob

    Xx

I'm so very sorry that you have to go though this awful nightmare. My heart goes out to you and I really do know how you're feeling because I lost my five and a half year old daughter in May from an asthma attack. We had a photographer from Heartfelt come to the Funeral Home the night before Sian's funeral, and he took some precious photos of Sian's hands with our hands. They are so beautiful and tasteful and we've had them framed and they hang in our entrance hall. As a PP mentioned, they don't charge a fee and we found them so respectful of us and Sian. I'm so glad we called them. They came within two hours of my call.

This is going to be a long and painful road for you. Many people will offer you much love and support, but there will also be people who will say the most insensitive things to you. Believe me, I have had comments made that have reduced me to tears and it is so hurtful. Just remember that there are lots of people who are thinking of you and who know how you are feeling. Please feel free to PM me if you'd like to. Hugs to you.

I am so sorry for your loss. You have every right to scream, yell, cry, be angry. I am so very very sorry.

We just told DS (who was 6 at the time) that we decided we didnt want to have a baby anymore. It was too hard for us to explain what as wrong and what had happened. When he gets older if/when he asks we will explain what has happened.

Cant see my previous post.. hope i havnt put it elsewhere..
    Hi ladies ...
Again thank you all for ur well wishes & support as a total stranger to you all .. Well saw my obs this morning ... He cannot yet explain what happened .. My baby was alive & well at 13wks ... Then something happened at 15wks .. I will go into hosiptal tomorrow where they'll give me drugs to bring on labour then Friday morning some pessaries to bring on the contractions .. On a positive note this will be a birth not a miscarriage which I'm sooo thankful for.. I feel that having a birth there is some formal recognition of my past & present.. Obs said that metropolitan funerals will take care of pics, hand prints etc free if charge .. It all still seems sooo very surreal ... Our future had changed forever ... Sands seems to be a good website but I'm yet to read read read soo much info .. I'm just glad that I told obs that I wanted an extra day to process Everthing !!!!! There's just sooooo much to think about .. We didn't expect to have to make these decisions so early in our baby's short life .. I'm going the the cycle of emotions .. I know time heals wounds but its just so very raw & extremely surreal .. You read about these things happening but just not to me .....
