    Default Pop Cakes - where to buy accessories???

    Hi there, just wondering if anyone knows where I can buy accessories to make some successful pop cakes??? I already have a silicon mold kit thing but want to also buy stuff like (more) lollipop sticks, decorating pen thing (a very thin one so I can draw on the cake), edible eyes (I believe you can buy these???), styrofoam and any other kinds of things I can use for decorating?????

    I am planning on doing trial pop cakes for Halloween (saw some cool spider and pumpkin ones!) so I get the hang of it as I need to make some farm animal ones (pig and sheep) in a couple of weeks time for DD1's birthday.

    Also, any tips and/or tricks you'd like to share when using these silicon molds???

    I've never used moulds for making cake pops, just used cake, crumbled up, mixed with a binder and rolled. You can get supplies online, even eBay, or a cake supply store. Where abouts are you?

    I've seen lots of tips for using the molds online- I think mainly you have to remember that they will have a little lip on them from the top of the pan that you have to remember to shave off with a knife before you do anything else.

    Good luck with it- I tried making them last year and I was terrible at it! (I don't think I had the patience!)
