    Default Melbourne Cup Day!!!

With the race that stops the nation just over a week away what are your plans for the day?

I'll be at work serving 400 people their Cup Day Seafood Buffet. Lucky them.

I always have a lunch at home or a friend's place so all the kids can join in too! We get dressed up, have canapes and all the children get a horse in the sweep. This year will be the first that I have to go to school pick up though so a bit of a downer!

    Default Melbourne Cup Day!!!

We are having a child friendly playgroup Melbourne cup day with horse races for the kids and hats etc. the day after I am having a Melbourne cup lunch with my mothers group - dressing up, hats and champagne. Fingers crossed the kids have a good sleep that day as they are having a baby slumber party with portacots. 😊

I'll be in hospital I'm having bubs the day before (elective caesarian). Hopefully I'll be able to watch the race with small champagne

DD and I will be going up to my parents' property in the country for lunch. Will put some bets on at the TAB on the way no doubt... not that I ever win anything but it makes watching the race a bit more fun
