Default pain and pressure at 16 weeks

I am 16 weeks and 1 day with twins.

I've had a very 'crampy' pregnancy but as of last week it has been far worse. I have a constant feeling of pressure and achiness, that radiates around my back as well. I am having heaps of trouble after I wee, it is really very painful then...sharp pains.

I called my obstetrician yesterday and she sent me into the hospital to have a urine test done, which showed there was no UTI. She told me not to be concerned as I have no fluid or blood loss and that it is most likely just pressure from my growing uterus!

But..I am so stressed out!! I dont have another scan for 2 weeks and I am so worried that I am going to loose these babies. I just dont like the fact that the discomfort has changed so much..I didn't mind the pains in the side of my tummy, that all seemed normal!

Has anyone else felt anything similar.

I am sorry I cant offer any advise or suggestion. I just wanted to jump on here and ask if you are ok. Are you still feeling the same? Maybe a second opinion? If something dosnt feel right, trust your instincts and get as many opinions as you need.
Having said that, I have been getting a strange pain every few days from about 5 or 6 weeks, and tell my dh I am SURE I am losing the baby, turns out it is when my bowel is about to start moving, and once moved, everything is normal again. (sorry for tmi).
My point, it could be nothing, but I think if something feels wrong, persist with the doctors!!

Same here. I have sharp pains too but I figured every time I had bowel movement the pain would disappear.

Default pain and pressure at 16 weeks

Well, by Tuesday it was worse. I couldnt touch my stomach it was so tender and the pain was radiating through my lower back!
I ended up back in for assesment and got a scan this time...everything looked fine!! Placentas fine, both babies fine and growing well and they checked the length of my cervix which was nice and long and closed!
Im a bit better today, still getting pain and pressure but Im alot more relaxed. I guess its just all the pressure from twins growing in there...
AND... Its a girl and a boy!
