Default Day 6 - slowly getting there

    Day 6
It is a tradition in the house that once a month on a sunday after church we get a fish and chips and a kids dvd and have family afternoon. Well today of course was that day. So I decided to have a bowl of Brussels sprouts instead, true to form the kids wanted my Brussels sprouts. So started the big avro of whinging that mummy had the Brussels sprouts. So I sent hubby out to buy some for the kids dinner.

Well Zumba has been a challenge today, every time I started someone would have a problem or the phone would ring. Most people I was able to call back except my eldest daughter who just need her mummy. So I have done a half a workout. When I get the kids to sleep I will try again. I tried the Exhilarate DVD, Oh my I am uncoordinated. Oh and how on earth do those back up Zumba ladies exercise in those metal chains and shirts that are tight around their thighs. They amaze me.

I am so shocked by myself, I have gone from no exercise to 1hr a day for the last week. I am coping with it. I thought by now I would a ready to give up but I feel empowered by the whole experience. While I am no where near keeping up or doing all the steps right. I am trying my hardest and I am getting better everyday.

Don't beat yourself up about missing half the workout, I'm sure the bowl of brussell sprouts makes up for it...unless they had butter on them.

    Ummm

Maybe there was some butter involved

According to my fitness pal with the butter (1/3 of a tsp) and the salt it was 100 cal.

It can just be our little secret. If it helps, I bit the tail off DD's crocodile donut at the movies this morning

A little bit of butter is fine in my book! More natural option than margarine and with the tiny amount you had the calories are next to nothing!

ROFL! Hey, that's one way to get the kids to eat brussel sprouts!

How did you find the rest of Exhilarate? It's hardcore, isn't it! It always amazes me how quickly the hour flies by, it sounds like so long and at the beginning of the workout it feels like forever, then next thing you know it's the cool down!
