    Default Nits and pregnant!!! :(

    I've been told to put a heap of conditioner in, comb it out with the lice comb and then when it's almost dry run the straightener through because the heats kills them. That's what I did when I got them about six months ago and it was the straightener more than anything that seemed to do the trick. Good Luck

    Hi! have not read the other posts, so this may have already been mentioned, I've worked with kids so have lots of nit experience the most effective method on dry hair put lots of conditioner, lather it on leave for a minute or 2 and the brush out with the nit comb, have a towel handy to wipe the comb.
    If your using the head lice shampoo often it becomes ineffective.

    You have to leave it on for 20 minutes in order to 'suffocate' them.
