People who leave it till after December babies birthdays, Im just curious to know why that is? Is that to make sure the birthday is 'more important' or something?
I have a December birthday and I always got excited when the tree was up cos I know that meant my birthday was close

Default When Do You Put Up Your Xmas Tree?

I would love to put it up early December, but with a 3 1/2 yo and a 1 1/2 year old it will more likely be Christmas Eve!!

As soon as the Melbourne Cup has been run, I reckon Xmas is on! So, I put mine up the weekend after Melbourne Cup. I love having the Xmas lights on in the evening right through November and December.

Wow I think if I put it up that early I'd be soooooooo sick of looking at it by the time Christmas came. We'll prob do ours mid Dec, and it will come down whenever I can be bothered. Sometime in march probably lol

Eta there is a happy birthday sign hanging in our lounge room, it's been there 8m & counting, I'm a bit slack with putting things away

I'm American so I forbid Christmas things until after Thanksgiving (third Thursday of November). We usually put the tree up mid-December, but it was up December 1st last year. It was our first year 'down under' so we needed to put it up to feel like it was Christmas - still trying to get used to warm Christmases so it might go up early again this year

My aunties birthday is on the first of December, growing up my grandparents (where I lived most of my life) always had this thing about not putting it up till after her birthday. Now I have a december bub I think it's nice to do the same thing. (giver DD her birthday before getting into Christmas)
